Female Yarmulkes (Kippot)

In contemporary times, orthodox and some conservative men and boys wear a yarmulke (or kipah) at all times.  Others elect to cover their heads with a yarmulke on occasions such as during prayer, while inside a synagogue, or during a Shabbat (Sabbath) dinner.  Increasingly women and girls are choosing to wear yarmulkes (or kippot) as well.
